Witnessed a wonderful display of sportsmanship yesterday.
Donnie, the member of the English team who collided with Hoover yesterday, sought out Beth Sam's mom. In a moving moment, he described haltingly that it was an accident, that he would never deliberately look to hurt someone.
Hats off to Donnie. That took guts to walk up to an opponent's mom and reach out and re-assure her. Well done.
